Liberty Steel are looking to recruit a Level 3 NDT Technician.

The NDT apprenticeship training programme prepares individuals with the skills and techniques to eventually take on a role within the NDT function. Non destructive testing is a testing and analysis technique used by industry to evaluate the properties of the steel we produce for characteristic differences or defects. 

The candidate must be keen, enthusiastic, self motivated, a good communicator, good time keeper, confident and team player. 

Essential 

GCSE’s at or above grade C/5 or equivalent in Maths, Science and English 

Genuine aptitude and interest in materials/ metallurgy, science and good standard of computer literacy required. 

Desirable

Understanding of the steel industry and associated processes.

We offer fixed 35 days holiday per year (April -March).

Apprentices generate 2.91 days holiday each month.
